"We Never Told Him He Couldn't Do It”

This afternoon, after finishing Unit 6 “Body Imperfect,” I had the 314 students read an article together. The title was “We Never Told Him He Couldn't Do It.” It was about how a boy born with club feet acted as normal children and finally even made the cross-country team when he was in seventh grade. It happened because his parents never told him he couldn’t do what other children could do.

I love the parents' way of bringing up their child. Instead of being protective toward him, they let him try everything. The boy testified what is mentioned in the last paragraph of Unit 6: …having a not-so-perfect body is not synonymous with having a poor quality of life.

I don't have "Body Imperfect" in my textbook. (Yes, I keek those textbooks!) Are you using Sanming edition? I'm still hoping that one day I can be back to audit your class. 有人要跟我一起嗎?˙ˇ˙
